Brussels, Belgium. On the occasion of the celebration the International Day of Rural Women, our member COPA COGECA organised an event in the European Parliament from 16:30 to 18:30 in meeting room P4B001. Access to proper education and vocational training is essential to help to close the employment gap, to promote women empowerment, ensure generation renewal in agriculture and the sustainable development of rural areas. The event aimed at fostering the discussion in a way that we can understand which are the major obstacles and best practices followed across EU to promote women education and their settlement in rural areas.
